A bomb exploded and Sensei was called to investigate the scene. Yuuka, fearing the worst might happen to her beloved Sensei, grows anxious and rushes out to confess her love for Sensei, only to find other girls who are against it do everything to block her way?!

This game was made on 18-22 November 2023 + 1 day for the Blue Archive Jam. No other member was involved in the creation of this game besides me.

Now that the stuffy part is done. Let's take a look at the game.

This game tells the story from Yuuka's perspective in the main story and from Sensei's perspective in the epilogue. I tried to insert character voices into the story. But only some characters are partially voiced (Yuuka, Midori, Momoi, Yuzu) while others are not (Noa, Aris). The game might get updated in the future, but please don't expect too much from it.

All sound effects were from TK with some edits. I forgot to put it in the credits in-game.

In this project, I don't have to worry about visuals and audio except for some editing here and there. So I can focus on creating the story and crafting a good experience for you, the player. 

Overall, this is a fun project and I learned a lot from doing it.

18/11/2023 - Ideation: 

- Brainstorm ideas 
- 1st draft of the Story have been written (Ch1 - Epilogue).
- Finished editing and preparing at least 1 sprites.

19/11/2023 - Editing. Gathering and preparing visual assets (v.0.1.0)

- 2nd draft of ch1-epilogue.
- Init Ren'Py project (GUI is still using template) 
- Sprite+expressions done for Yuuka, Momoi, and Midori 
- Backgrounds done.

20/11/2023 - Assets preparation and implementing everything in-game (v.0.2.0)

Hayase Yuuka Love is War v.0.2.0: 
- Sprites done (Aris, Yuzu, Noa). 
- This means, all sprites are done.
- (Some unused sprites might need to be deleted later on).
- Chapter 1 has been implemented in-game.
- All music is ready to be implemented (ch1 implemented).
- Add basics cinematography (fade transition, dissolve, etc.)

21/11/2023 - 

Hayase Yuuka Love is War v.0.3.0: 
- Ch1 to epilogue implemented
- Musics and sprites implemented (basic sprites, no expression).

Hayase Yuuka LiW v.0.4.0: 
- Added bounce animation to all characters as needed.
- Update cinematography.
- Prepare all voices for Momoi and Midori (not implemented yet).

22/11/2023 - Last spurt.

Hayase Yuuka LiW v.0.5.0: 
- Implemented voices for Midori and Momoi. 
- Implemented expressions for (Yuzu, Aris, and half of Midori). 
- Prologue has been written and added in-game.
- 3rd draft of story is done. 
- Updated musics.

- Momoi all expression implemented. 
- Yuuka voice all done and edited, some have been implemented. 
- Update cinematography
